I knew a dual sport was fun. But its intoxicatingly fun. I kinda regret getting a sportbike first =/ Im open to suggestions on aftermarket parts to get for this thing so let me hear yalls suggestions!
But what sucks is when your buddy who also just got one, is moving away...

Yes that's a turbo.

Get a good aftermarket seat (Seat Concepts), good tires, a skid plate, exhaust, jet kit, and then do the suspension. Racetech Gold Valves and springs up front, and for the back? Not sure what's the recommended shock for a DRZ400. I have a Cogent Dynamics rear shock in my DR650 and love it. Then go hit the canyons and the trails and have fun!

Properly setting up the suspension does wonders. As far as upgrades, a good set of tires will do wonders over stock.

Complete and total pleb here. Where's the turbo? I presume you mean the round thingy right behind the air filter

Yeah, directly behind the air filter, partially blocked by that gold colored valve assembly, thar be a turbo

Right, thanks! I never thought about it but I guess they do stick tiny turbos on bikes.
I need one so bad now.

Aweee i bet it makes just the cutest little chooochoo noises!
And youll love turbo lag when youre mid wheelie and the boost kicks in....

I have to do my homework on suspension because the ultimate goal is supermoto setup with trails and mud on the side. So i want a safe setup for street tires, then whatever will work for sticking knobbies on. Because i know there are dangers to just sticking sumo tires right on to an S model.

Yep, picking yourself up out of the dirt wondering what just happened is half the fun. Trust me, I once owned a Honda three-wheeler. :)

They make them ridiculously small, some are designed to work with scooters and mopeds around 150cc, although why you'd need a turbo for one unless it's just for the lawlz is beyond me.

The lawlz is my primary motivation for most all things.
Thinking about sticking one on my (yet unbuilt) 125cc boardtrack racer project. It's my first bike so maybe I should ride that for a while before hopping it up...

FCR-MX carb is a must have mod. I have had a DRZ400SM since 2007 and love it

OH MY GOD. How does that go that fast? What with the weight of the rider’s balls? I’m just sitting here shaking my head.

I know right!?
